What were you doing before Brigaid?

Before Brigaid, I worked in a variety of agricultural and culinary settings to understand food’s path from farm to table, which further evolved into learning about its impact on individual and population health through a master of public health degree and the registered dietitian credential from the University of Michigan.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Just like the kitchen adage “good food takes time,” our work similarly takes time — whether making impact in our partner districts or moving the needle on the national scale towards whole ingredient scratch cooking and shifts in palate.
